Making PCB at home takes time even though it might be your quickest way. The method I used requires the uncovered copper to be dissolved inside the hydrochloric acid and hydrogen peroxide mixture. That takes long; once I waited about 6 hours. This thing I have designed on a night, which I call “etcher”, increases the reaction rate by shaking. It also allows you to control the dissolving when you mix too much hydrogen peroxide (because it takes shorter time, you can have the patience to watch it:). The board in the video took 6.5 minutes to be etched. That is a board I will be sharing, which is the dish washer indicator. I designed the circuit board of the etcher using Altium. The code inside the Attiny13A allows vibration frequency control using PWM.
I 3D designed it using @SolidWorks. I designed the circuit board using Altium. I 3d printed it using @makerbot .
