Ending hibernation…
System Rebooting…
Hello World!
I wanted to come back to the social media world posting about an object with an interesting story. The part you see is something I could print more than 6 years after I have designed it. Back when I designed it, my parents were thinking I was playing a game on computer which I can 3D design things. I also didn’t know 3D designing programs were made for engineers. Meanwhile, I was trying to explain my parents what 3D printers are. I designed this glass for cocktail parties so you don’t have to touch public mixed nuts, which can be unhygienic.
My parents liked this design more than any of my previous designs. Back then, there was only one 3D printing service in Turkey that I could find. Before buying a 3D printer, my parents asked me to have a part printed, I asked the printing service for the price of this cocktail glass. It was a very high price, so I didn’t get it printed. There wasn’t any affordable 3D printers in Turkey, so we bought my first 3D printer on a holiday in Thailand. Before, I could get the printer to work, I moved onto using a better PC running windows 8, which was an upgrade after the Vista one I was using.
Years past, and I couldn’t make the old PC work. This design got lost in it.
It turned out that only the charging cable was broken. So, few months ago, finally I got .step files of all my old designs (some were very embarrassing) and, printed this one…

Sorry for the hibernation, I was trying to have a well organised profile for my university application and continued hibernating in case if I didn’t have any chance to make things during the first year of my university. But, it looks like I will have more chance than I have ever had.
